Jason has an incredible passion and energy for all things gastronomy, exploring the ways people from cultures across the globe source, share and enjoy food.
His adventures as a food photographer and photojournalist across a staggering number of countries during his 30 year career has given him a unique insight into food provenance and the role food plays in our lives.
Not content with simply filming food, Jason founded the Towpath Cafe in Dalston. The respected and acclaimed open fronted cafe on the Regent’s
Canal towpath excels in well-sourced, seasonal high quality ingredients.
Jason maintains close associations within the food world and works with some of the finest food producers and the world’s most inspirational chefs.
He is photographer of choice for chefs Claudia Roden, Simon Hopkinson, Fergus Henderson and Mark Hix.
